The Cumberland Singers is an auditioned community choir of treble voices striving to create a sense of community through the performance of choral music, including both secular and non-secular music, familiar favorites, and thought-provoking pieces. Our goal is to bring joy to the community and each other through learning and performing high-quality choral music. Our welcoming group of women rehearses weekly under professional artistic direction, singing a diverse repertoire of music. We explore contemporary themes to enrich understanding and shared experiences at our seasonal, live concert series.

Welcome to the web page of the Cumberland Singers, based in Mechanicsburg, PA. It’s time for a reboot! Please read this letter from our president to learn all about it.

The Cumberland Singers group is now a treble chorus. We will be accepting up to 40 sopranos and altos for our fall season. Our program, entitled Light is Returning, is a celebration of all the gifts the holiday season brings. This year we are especially celebrating the gifts of coming back together as a group and of starting a new adventure!

We are now conducting auditions and voice placement meetings online through zoom. Please contact us to schedule your audition with the director.
